PAS-TRAN

Let PAS-TRAN connect you to:  Shopping, education, employment, entertainment, medical facilities, family visits, other places of interest.

Who can ride PAS-TRAN?

The general public, seniors age 65 and up, and any person with a disability (ADA), including area visitors. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

How to Schedule a Trip

Reservations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your trip. Call or see website for current transit system information, fares and hours of operation, and to see if same-day service is available.

Cancelling a Trip

Failure to cancel a scheduled trip is called a "No Show". Notify transit system to cancel any scheduled trip at least two (2) hours in advance of a scheduled pick up time.

PAS-TRAN Service Policy
  • Guns and weapons are prohibited.
  • Food, drinks, loud or disruptive behavior, the use of illegal substances, alcohol and tobacco products are prohibited.
  • Passengers may not interfere with the safety or privacy of other passengers.
  • Lift equipped vehicles are available.
  • Credit cards are NOT accepted at this time.
  • Certain restrictions may apply.
  • Seat belts MUST be worn at all times.
  • Parents must provide safety seats as the law requires.

NOTE:

Transportation Services may be interrupted if funding is not available.

We Provide Human service agency sponsored transit services and public transportation services. Trip destinations include medical appointments, shopping, employment, and more.

PAS-TRAN riders may be picked up or dropped off at any of our four stop locations and/or service from your house directly to the destination, for any person, as well as for persons with a disability. Please contact PAS-TRAN to see if your destination can be served.

It is the policy of PAS-TRAN to ensure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; 49 CFR, Part 21; related statutes and regulations that ensure no person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, sex, age, or national origin be excluded from participation in, or be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance from the United States Department of Transportation. For more information or to file a complaint you may contact us by mail, telephone, or email. Complaints must be filed in writing or in person no later than 180 days after the alleged act of discrimination occurred.

American with Disabilities Act Plan
The American with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) requires that individuals with disabilities receive the same level of service as non-disabled individuals. Services that are "separate but equal" are not acceptable.
 
It is the policy of Pender Adult Services to comply with all the legal requirements of federal and state laws and regulations as they pertain to individuals with disabilities. If state laws and federal regulations are contradictory, the federal ADA regulations prevail. The transit system provides quality transportation services without discrimination to all persons including individuals with disabilities. Discrimination on the basis of disability against any person by transit system employees will not be condoned.

Es politica de Pender Adult Services cumplir con todos los requisitos legales de las leyes y regulaciones federals y estatales en lo que respecta a las personas con discapacidad. En caso de contradiccion entre las leyes estalales y las regulaciones federales, prevaleceran las regulaciones federales de la ADA. El sistema de tranporte de calidad sin discriminatcion a todas las personas, includas las personas con discapacidad.
