Support groups provide a time for people with similar circumstances to spend time together, share experiences, and expore ways to manage challenging circumstances. Support groups are open to anyone with an interest in the topic. Have Questions?

Blind Support Group
Please Note:
The Blind Support Group will be meeting off-site in December on the 14th of December (second Wednesday)
This group usually meets at 1:00 PM on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the Board Room at Heritage Place in Burgaw.
Health Check (Blood Pressure)
Sponsored by Pender County Health Department.
Topsail Senior Center:
Health Checks at Topsail Senior Center are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 12:00. No appointment needed.
Heritage Place:
Health Checks at Heritage Place in Burgaw on the 4th Thursday of the month at 11:30 AM. No appointment needed.
Caregiver's Support Group
It's important and reserve time for yourself when caring for the needs of a loved one, and to understand that you are not alone. If you are caring for a loved one with cancer, alzheimers, or another disability, this group is for you. This group normally meets at Heritage Place on the 4th Thursday at 11:30 AM.
